In the heart of a quiet village lives Mama Rashidi (Mwanjuma Saidi), a devoted mother whose strength is reflected in every sacrifice she makes for her family.
As the mother of seven children, Mama Rashidi has spent her life nurturing and providing for her family. Her eldest child has now grown and established an independent life, but her responsibilities remain great. Today, she is the sole provider for her two youngest children, a child diligently attending Standard Five at the local government school and a cheerful one-year-old baby who depends entirely on her care.
Each day begins before sunrise and ends long after dark. The challenge of providing nutritious meals, school supplies, clothing, and other basic necessities is constant. Yet despite the hardships, Mama Rashidi refuses to surrender to despair. Instead, she dreams of creating a stable livelihood that will allow her family to stand on their own.
Her vision is both practical and achievable: she hopes to start a small business selling freshly fried fish within her village and neighboring communities. With access to fresh fish and a simple cooking setup, she can prepare affordable meals while earning an honest daily income.
